The cabin was updated in 2021 with a new lake side deck, including picnic table and Adirondack chairs, new stainless steel kitchen and cabinets, cozy fireplace and full size beds and bedding. Please be aware that Northern Comfort is compact, it was originally built in 1942 and is approx. 600 sq ft. The interior has been modernized, the footprint and exterior are mostly original, which adds to the history and charm of this cabin.

Located within Pinehurst Resort, Northern Comfort is nestled within the Red Pines of Little St. Germain’s West Bay. West Bay is “The” Bay on Little Saint, with spring fed water, good water clarity, exceptional fishing and water sports. In addition, Pinehurst Resort offers a level sandy beach, boat piers, swim raft and shared campfire pit.

For larger families we have two adjacent lake side cabins that can accommodate up to 10 people between Northern Comfort (4 people) and Ruffin It. (6 people)

    My cabin was right next to my son and his was nice to be able to make plans and coordinate with them so easily. I am not a fisherman or a boater, but it was nice to be able to take a pontoon ride to see other areas of the lakes. My son had rented the pontoon for the was wonderful to sit on the deck in the early morning enjoying the quiet and a hot cup of coffee. What would have made the experience a bit better would be a campfire between the 2 cabins. As an older adult I would like to recommend adding a grab bar in the shower, too dangerous without one. Would reduce your liability. Thank you.
